Catizen Telegram Game Unveils Airdrop on Ton: Key Details on Eligibility Explained

Positive news for eligible players as the Catizen network gears up for CATI airdrop on Ton Network.

The Open Network (TON) sees dramatic twists to overcome the turbulent spell following the Telegram chief executive Pavel Durov’s arrest. Fueling the record-breaking numbers on Ton is Catizen as it edges closer to launching the CATI token. It joins the popular Hamster Kombat that also plans to launch airdrops and viral DOGS memecoin to propel the numbers.

The Catizen is unveiling the CATI Token next week, with less than half the players currently eligible to benefit from the upcoming airdrop. As a play-to-earn clicker game, Catizen has attracted millions of users in bolstering metrics on the TON blockchain.

Like Hamster Kombat’s popularity, the Catizen play-to-earn clicker feature attracts millions of users, for its ease of use and deep integration into Telegram messenger. The two reasons are behind the millions of users currently engaging with the app.

Eligibility for Catizen Airdrop

Catizen will unveil the CATI token on the TON blockchain on September 20. The Telegram game plans airdrops at the same time. A Tuesday, September 10 update by Catizen developer Pluto Studio clarified the players eligible for the CATI tokens.

Pluto Studio confirmed that eligible players earned enough in-game vKitty coins to realize the “Silver League” qualify for the airdrops. A shared post to the Catizen community on Telegram clarified the eligible players as slightly over 15.2 million.

The statement indicated that over 20 million players were still within the Bronze League, thereby ineligible for the rewards. The post urged players to start and boost their standing since the CATI airdrop cutoff is Silvery and Royal levels.

The post captures graphics of the players that reached the respective in-game league, with 12.7M already in the Silver League, trailing Bronze. The Gold League has witnessed over 2 million players. Diamond has received 76,000, the lowest ahead of Master League at 108,000, and 320,000 still in Platinum.

The post disclosed that only 10,505 players attained the Royal League and are bound to benefit with the juiciest airdrops. Nonetheless, Catizen has yet to share the allocation criteria.

Catizen involves a matching puzzle game running as a mini app within Telegram. The game allows players to match similar cats within a cat cafe. Doing so allows the player to unlock the higher-level cat varieties and reap more in-game currency. Such positions the player in a position to unlock huge allocation in the on-chain CATI token.

Telegram Games Usher Token and Airdrops Debut

The airdrop timing is uncertain though the Catizen indicated the token launch occurs on September 20. The developers disclosed that leading exchanges, including KuCoin, OKX, and HashKey are set to list the CATI token. Besides, other exchanges have recently offered pre-market trading for the soon-to-launch CATI.

Catizen is among the leading Telegram games whose tokens debut this month ahead of the combat-themed Rocky Rabbit. The latter launches the RabBitcoin (RBTC) token on Monday 23rd. The popular Hamster Kombat schedules the HMSTR token three days later on September 26 on the TON blockchain.

The launch of the three tokens is a pivotal moment for the Telegram crypto gaming ecosystem since its spring to life at the onset of 2024. Its beginning featured Notcoin debut where the tap-to-earn game attracted 35 million players and later unveiled the largest gaming token.

With Catizen leading other Telegram games debut tokens, it illustrates the change of fortune for the TON blockchain. Nonetheless, the TON faces concerns over the network’s capability to meet the immense demands post the token and airdrops given the recent downtime bouts.
